The role

The company is seeking a Product Designer to join the team and help reshape how healthcare trusts use analytics to improve patient care. As a Product Designer, you will focus on the information architecture and user experience (IA/UX) of displaying complex data, ensuring an accessible, standardised, and consistent design approach. Experience with design systems and their implementation in product and web delivery processes will be beneficial.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Structured implementation of design deliverables, including libraries, components, variables, and design tokens.
  • Supporting the development of wireframes and user journeys to visualise solutions.
  • Conducting user research alongside the product team.
  • Collaborating with engineers to ensure the feasibility of design concepts.
  • Testing new designs and workflows through guided experiments.
  • Identifying usability improvements to drive product adoption and retention alongside the product team.


  1. Contribute to the improvement of the overall user experience of the Product interface.
  2. Gather user feedback through prototyping and testing.
  3. Accelerate the speed of generating designs and specifications for development.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Create design guidelines and standards for the product.
  • Build on the component library on Figma.

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Support the identification of at least one product enhancement to boost stickiness or adoption.
  • Contribute to a routine of user experimentation to gather feedback on product ideas.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a new feature, alongside the product team.


  1. 2 years of experience in UI/UX design.
  2. Experience with Jira and Confluence is preferred.
  3. Interest in healthcare.
  4. 2 years of experience with Figma.
  5. Experience designing for modern web browsers as a target platform

The role is based at their light and spacious offices in Fordingbridge near Salisbury. This is a hybrid role  requiring at least 3 days per week in the office.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
